Wouldn’t it be great if when we arrived on earth
We were provided with a handbook - your life from birth
A neatly laid out road map that directed you on your way
Wow - that would be amazing, I can hear you say
We amble along the road of life and let each day unfold
We never really push ourselves to break the cosy mould
It’s feels like we wear a blindfold and live in the dark
Trying to find that one thing that makes the special spark
We don’t need a fancy handbook to lead us on our way
Sometimes all you need is courage to seize the day
So dip your toe into the water and try out something new
It doesn’t matter if you fail - just try and see it through!
Keep living - keep growing - keep learning
