Find your inner glow…..
Follow me, I know the way
You’ll see the forks, but don’t be swayed
So we trail the uncertain path ahead
Deep in our gut we know it doesn’t feel right
But still we trudge along
Like words sung to the wrong song
Don’t look ahead, don’t look behind
Just look at me, don’t follow the paths that wind
Oppression starts to dull your light
Weighted wings which need to take flight
Then ahead a dancing glimmer of light
Drawn to it, you investigate this sight
The path ahead is full of twists and turns
But it’s one that awakens a yearning
A yearning to step into the complete unknown
But you know this journey you must make alone
Like emerging from a chrysalis you start to grow
And just like that …..
I find my own inner glow!
