One Grain of Sand
Time slips through our fingers
As easily as grains of sand
And like the sand we barely notice it
One grain of sand
What value does that hold?
One second in time
Just a blink of an eye
Put all those grains together
You have a vast golden shore
All those seconds of your life
Become a lifetime of memories
But in one second everything can change
So hold them close before they drift away
