What is ordinary?
I am just an ordinary girl.
Plain, simple ordinary girl.
I am nothing special.
I am not extraordinary.
I am just an ordinary girl.
We live in a very ordinary world.
Surrounded by nature.
It’s nothing special.
Hemmed in by buildings
It’s not extraordinary.
We live in a very ordinary world.
But what is ordinary?
What does ordinary mean?
Is anyone just ordinary?
Maybe we are all extraordinary?
Look at our bodies.
Take a moment to think.
Bodies which adapt.
Bodies which heal.
Bodies that do incredible things.
So surely nobody is “ordinary”.
Look at the world.
It’s full of creation.
From the tiniest creature.
To mountains that seem to meet the universe.
Adapting and changing to its ever changing environment.
Surely this is no ordinary world.
We are all extraordinary.
We live in an extraordinary world.
So when you feel worthless and small.
Remember your body is a miracle.
You are its owner so that makes you extraordinary.
