Shine Like A Star
Millions of stars - but yet no two the same.
Stars that glisten, like a sparkly hall of fame.
Look up at that night sky one cold, dark night.
It really is quite an extraordinary sight.
A gallery of diamonds and it’s all completely free.
The same view from gardens, mountains and the sea.
Look up in awe, for it’s a sight taken for granted.
It’s a mystery laced with a touch of enchantment.
The stars and planets should keep us grounded.
Tiny gems, too many to be counted.
What lies out there in those dark galaxies?
Stars and planets giving rise to many fantasies.
Nobody knows what lies beyond black holes.
Rockets are sent up to explore like moles
Galaxy upon galaxy littered with gleaming stars.
Dwarfing this humble small world of ours.
When darkness descends the skies come alive
No motive, no agenda, no burning desire to thrive.
Their beauty is simple and there lies the key.
A life lesson for you and for me.
Just wake up each day and shine bright like that star.
Remember everyone has a part to play whoever they are.
