My Security Blanket
I reach out my hand
I just need to know you are there
My hand finds your back
I run it down slowly
A wave of reassurance comes over me
Like my security blanket
I know you are always there for me
So wise - so knowing
Nothing is ever too much trouble
I don’t know where I would be without you
The only time we run into troubled waters
Is when I see that message
Low battery 🪫
Then I let out a big sigh
Concede that you need to be recharged
And I’m now flying solo for an hour or so
