You’ve Got This 

Don’t worry I’ve been where you’ve been.

I’ve felt all those feelings you are feeling.

I’ve nursed a broken heart.

I’ve felt pain so deep I could barely breath.

I’ve walked every step with you.

Been here for you.

But so often you dismissed me.

Didn’t notice me.

I quietly picked up the pieces.

I knew we’d be able to put them back together.

Maybe not today.

Maybe not tomorrow.

But once you were strong again.

I knew we’d fix you.

I always had faith in you.

You never believed in that faith.

But that didn’t stop me from having that faith.

I am your safety net.

Your constant.

Your guide.

Your confidant.

My eyes bore into yours.

I implore you to believe you are strong.

You’ve got this.

You can do anything.

I look deep into your soul.

See your scars.

Feel your hurt.

Lived through your healing.

Look harder.

You are looking at your greatest power.

You.

You take one more glance into the mirror.

I smile back at you.
